MAY - REVIEW PILE READING CHALLENGE

ReviewBooks_sq

I am so glad I entered this challenge.  It seems like most of the books I read these days are "review" books, so now that there is a challenge it seems easier for me to do.  Probably doesn't make sense, but when I have a "dead line" it makes things easier for me.  This particular challenge is hosted by [FIKT] SHUN and PHANTASMIC READS.

I look at what I read this month, and it doesn't seem like much, so I am wondering where my time went.  Hmmm...  It seems like I was always reading something, but I guess there were only a few "reviews" ones for this month.

First -  was HUSH by Stacey R. Campbell - my review is here

I loved this book.  I got this one from Netgalley.  The author is awesome and inspiring to me.  She has sent me some signed books to do a give away on my blog here.

Second - Was WHISPER by Stacey R. Campbell - my review is here.

I got this one from Netgalley and it is part of the giveaway above.  I really enjoyed these books :)!

Third - was THE WEATHER GIRL by Amy Vastine- my review is here
The Weather Girl

I got this one from PRISM BOOK TOURS as part of a blog tour.  It is such a cute read.

I feel like there should be so many more on this post, but I guess I didn't get done as much as I thought I did.  I have been trying to slow my trigger finger down when signing up for reviews, so maybe that is part of it.  When I first started this blog I signed up for everything I could get my hands on.  I quickly learned that, that was not the best plan.  I was too overwhelmed...hehe.  It was fun, but it was hard.  Now I think I am finally catching up with all the ones I signed up for at the beginning of my journey.  We shall see.  There are so many fantastic books out there and when I see them come around for review it is VERY hard for me to not sign up.  Oh, such a hard life I know..hehehe!

  1. I have SO many books on my shelves to read that aren't review books. I never seem to get to them because of the millions of review ones. I really need to do a challenge one of these days.

    1. That is why I am doing this one! It is for review books! It seems like that is all I have time for, so when a challenge is involved it makes it more fun for me :)

  2. It is nice to have challenges for both reviews books and ones that are in your TBR pile. It really does help sometimes, I have no idea why but it does!

  3. I have such a big reading pile that I feel I should be a part of this challenge, lol. Don't feel bad about not reading enough books. I think as long as you read SOME, you're good!

  6. I seem to read more library books than books I bought on my selves and I think it's because I have that deadline in the back of my head. It kind of forces me to make time for the book because I want to read it before I have to return it. This looks like a fun challenge! Good luck =)
