The Colony by Cami Checketts
My Review / Thoughts:
First and foremost I loved how how clean this book was! Thank you thank you Cami Checketts! I really enjoy reading books, but love reading clean ones even more!!!!
I loved Lance. He is awesome. It was hard to tell if he was going to be a good guy or not, but I ended up loving him.
I also knew from the very beginning the Jed was not going to be who I wanted Brinlee to be with.
I was very surprised by the twist in the book, which is a good thing :). I knew that something else was going on with Jed and his group, but was just assuming the whole "commune" was what was wrong. The brain washing that goes along with communities like that.
The end of the book was very intense. I had a really hard time putting this book down.
Brinlee's inner struggles were a little annoying at times, but she is a fantastic character!
I really enjoyed this book! It was exciting and told a wonderful story of a girl trying to turn her life around so she can raise her children right.
