About the book:
Jan Myers has dedicated her career to helping the elderly. But after one of the elderly residents under her care mysteriously dies, Jan’s career, her daughter, and everything she loves is suddenly in jeopardy.
It’s up to Jan to piece together the clues and find out what happened before it’s too late!
This cozy mystery is a perfectly thrilling read. With shocking twists and romantic hints, it’s sure to keep you guessing till the very end.

MY REVIEW / THOUGHTS:
This was a great read.  When I find out that this book takes part in a elderly home I thought the title was very appropriate ;).   There is so much more to it just being a old people's home.
When Jan finds out that one of her residents has died and they suspect foul play, she decides to dive a little more into the life of her resident.  He was not the most loved resident of the home, but Jan didn't want anyone in her home to die of anything other than natural causes.

While Jan tries to ease the concerns of her residents and their families, she finds out there is more to the death of her resident than meets the eye.

The story unravels, and it is awesome.  It's interesting to see how lives connect and how some people can hold a grudge.

I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end.  I wish the Jan's daughter would have had a little bigger role, only because I think she could have been a very interesting character.

This was a good, quick, mystery.  It was so interesting to see things come together.

  2. My grandmother owned and ran a health care facility and I grew up knowing quite a bit about the mechanics of running the facility. I was very sure of her love for the residents.

    1. I do not doubt the love of the residents! I have visited a family friend in one for years, and the owners loved each and every one. I always wondered what went through the residents minds behind closed doors :). Did they ever scheme about getting out....Things like that ! hehehe
